If you said they’re all holding flags, you win. 

If you said they're all making you feel bad about skipping a day at the gym, you win.

But that's not why we're here. That would be because they’ve all won World or Olympic multi-event championships, and are all in the top 5 highest scoring athletes (of their gender) from the past 15 years. Anything else? Oh yeah, they all have one white parent and one black parent.

What are the odds? In the US, 1.1% of people are half black and half white. It’s less than that in Canada, the UK, Germany, and Belgium. Let’s just be generous and call it 1% globally. What are the chances of pulling out 8 1%ers on only 10 draws from a hat?
